November Review – Just Keep Buying Edition
November was a crazy month. Overall, I didn’t make a lot of changes, but had very strong results. The market has been on a crazy run and I’ve taken advantage. Forever grateful for the results from this year… but I do hope I can keep it going.
Adds – $SHOP, $SE, $AMZN, $ZM, $PTON, $DKNG, $TDOC. All were pre-existing position that I added to. Just keep buying.
Sells – None. Just keep buying.
Options – Sold $GRWG options for $1k gain. $GRWG has ran since then and call options would be worth a lot more now. Nothing wrong with taking gains and I don’t regret my thought process. I entered $JMIA puts, $JMIA is on an epic run, but with questionable financials and meh management. I’ll take that put bet, but I am betting against a booming industry and a strong narrative. My only other open option are $WORK calls that I’ve had open for a long time… I got lucky with the acquisition.
Watch List – $LULU, $FTCH, $HERO. $LULU and I have been circling each other. Honestly, if it wasn’t an apparel company, I would have bought it by now. I’m still highly interested in $LULU, but my conviction isn’t quite there… yet. $FTCH is an interesting company that I am very early in the process of reviewing. $FTCH is semi-similar to $ETSY (while also being the complete opposite), but it has some strong growth behind it, in a brand driven industry. I probably will never invest, but I have thought about it and looked at it. $HERO is just an oversight on my part. I own $NERD, but I should own both.
